Planning consent is in place for 9,600 sq ft of commercial space fronting Preston Rd (A6). The proposed development will be similar in nature to the successful commercial development at Buckshaw Village, where Costa; BetSid and Domino’s Pizza have all committed to space on a long term basis.
The occupiers within the development will benefit from direct access to the A6, which records in excess of 33,000 vehicle movements per day at this point.

The units will be of mono pitch construction and have glazed frontages; ample services and car parking provision. Although the layout and plans may change, our provisional plans and elevation designs for the commercial space are illustrated below:
The Masterplan set out below has planning consent and illustrates the positioning of the houses proposed and also shows the commercial units and the buffer zone, which creates an effective separation between the two development zones.
Calder Park is expected to start on site in late 2019, with completion due mid-2020. One of the units is already in solicitors hands to a well known high street retailer.
