In 2016, Primrose completed the construction of a 3,600 sq ft commercial development on Ordnance Rd in Buckshaw Village, Chorley. The building sits adjacent to Aldi and was designed with a generous height and glass frontage, to attract interest from the retail sector. The flexibility of the design allowed the unit to be sub-divided and with this in mind, three lettings were concluded to Costa; BetSid and Domino’s Pizza.

  • Outline Planning consent achieved
  • Phase 1 – land sale of part to Aldi for a food store.
  • Phase 2 – Community Centre built and sold to Chorley BC.
  • Phase 3 – 3,600 sq ft retail units (built speculatively), but pre-let to Costa; BetSid and Domino’s Pizza.
  • Retail investment retained.
